Regardless of a fact if windows can or cannot find the printer you want to install, click on The Printer that I want isn't listed:
If this is the first time this printer is being installed on this device click on Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings
Click on Create a new port: and select Standard TCP/IP Port
Type the hostname and/or queue name (if the printer is office based and not moved around - you might as well name the port with the printer name)
In case of HP printer, please select/install HP Universal Printing PCL 6 driver
Name the printer in this manner: [PrinterNumber/Name]-[TrayNumber/Name]
Install the printer
Once the printer is installed, correct tray settings and etc need to be configured. Go to printer Properties:
The go to Preferences...
Make sure that the tray selected matches printer name and that the printer does/does not* print double sided: * - 99% of our customers do not print double sided. Please check with the customer what they want.
Attached is a short video that goes through the same process and also installs a second printer with a different tray re-using existing ports.
