Auctionmart Mobile App Release March 2022 - Bitesize

Auctionmarts.com app intro

Newline have a booking app to take photos, videos and record lot information on your Android or Apple mobile phone and auto import into NAS to create lots. This has been merged into our Auctionmarts app which provides additional features for the above and the ability to view sales and bid on sales within the app. This app will be on the app stores in the next couple of months but in the meantime can be obtained by asking Newline support to email a download link to you. The auction will need to setup an online sale that allows authorised users to create lots using the Auctionmarts app. 

If you are using the booking in app please get in touch with Newline to replace it with the Auctionmarts app. There are many fixes and more features available to you in this app.

 


Auctionmarts App

Install the app on your mobile phone. A link to download the app can be obtained from Newline support team. Log into the app using your Auctionmarts username and password.

Auctions

 

 

Click the Auctions icon and view all the sales listed on Auctionmarts.com. You can then browse and leave bids in the normal way you would do in an internet browser from the app.

Create Lot

 

To enter lots on your phone click Create Lot and select the sale you want to book the lot into from the list of sales currently available to post lots for. If there is 4G or wi-fi these lots will be sent to the auction server for processing in NAS. On clicking save you are prompted to add more or to finish.

 

There are options in the configuration in the three horizontal lines at the top right of the lot screen.

View Lots

Click view lots to select a sale and then see the lots in that sale.

Approved means the auction has accepted these and imported them into NAS and given them a lot number.

Uploaded means they have been sent to the auction.

Not Uploaded means they have not left your phone yet. Check you have wifi or 4G. Give the lot 15 mins to ensure there has been time to upload all the photos or videos to the central server.

Click on Not Uploaded will retry and upload the lot data.

Click App Info this shows the version and build number which is useful to our support team.
