Red Tractor Farm Assurance (FA) offers Beef and Lamb standards. More info may be found here
For NAS purposes a customer record can be added to the scheme as Farm Assured, the membership type can be: All (i.e. Beef & Lamb); Beef Only; Lamb Only. The NAS user will set up the customer account as they require having checked the Red Tractor website and checker to ensure the user data is accurate and the account has not been suspended.
In the Customer account, click the Farm Assurance Info Tab (bottom right of the screen).
This information from the customer account is used when entering lot information to set the Farm Assurance status on the lot being entered.
Booking Cattle Lots
In the example below the seller is Farm Assured and the FA Type is All. The lot will default to F/A = Y
In the example below the seller is Farm Assured and the FA Type is Beef. The lot will default to F/A = Y
In the example below the seller is Farm Assured and the FA Type is Lamb. The lot item type is a cattle type. The user will be warned that the lot will not be FA and the lot \ transaction will be set as FA = N
Booking Sheep Lots
In the example below the seller is Farm Assured and the FA Type is Beef. The user is warned. Not assured for this stock type. The FA status on the lot will be set to N.
In the example below the seller is Farm Assured and the FA Type is Lamb. The lot is set to FA = Y.
