NAS Software Process.

We still have the same two options for reporting sheep movements to Gov Database.

The first time the market goes into send movements to Gov database they will be prompted

 The user will click on and see this screen.

They should then enter the email address and password they entered when they signed up on the LIP portal for that market.

This will download an access token to the system for that log in details so the user will not have to enter these details in again, when sending sheep movements for that holding number, for 180 days. If they have different log in details for different markets/ holding numbers then they will each time they go to use a different holding number as we can only store one security token on each server at a time.

The user will then be prompted

The user can enter in here a user friendly name for the token they have just downloaded so could be the company name if they have just the one log in or it could be the market name if they have multi.

The user will then get this screen which hopefully looks like something they are familiar with.

There is one major difference to this new reporting process from the previous and that is the user will not be able to send a movement to LIP if they have MORE reads than they have sheep. If this is the case as in the above highlighted list then these movements will not be able to be ticked by the user to send.

They can go back into the EID menu and view tags in sale and sort out any overreads where theye might have split a lot or altered the number of sheep in a lot but not amended the tags, or they just have had more tags read in a race reader because there are more than 1 EID tag in the sheep.

The user can view the tags for that customer by double clicking on the reads column on the required row. They will get this appear.

It is only possible for the user to flag a tag to not be sent to LIP if no movement has already been done for the lot that the tag is entered in. So if the user has sent the ON market movement and there is then an over read for the buyer it will not be possible to flag any tag to not send the overread will need to be sorted in the sheep tags in sale option.

When the system is sending the movements off to LIP the system will go down the rows in the grid and update with processing when it sends the original details off to LIP and the details are added to the LIP processing queue. Then once all details have been sent the system will go down the list again and get the latest information from the queue on the status of each move and when it has been processed it will update the grid row with complete.

You can view all previously sent details using the File View menu option and this will show the LIP request ID and the document reference ID from LIP for that movement.

If for any reason you get a Fail reply back from LIP then if you double click on the word fail you should get a second screen appear with the details as to why this movement has failed. You will then need to correct the information and resubmit the movement again.
