Adding Links to the website Noticeboard

Holmfirth require the ability to add external links to the noticeboard, to do this.


  1. First login to the website
  2. Once logged in you will see an admin page, with a links subpage (these pages are only visible once logged in)
  3. To add a link, click the Add Link Button
  4. Enter a Title, this is purely for the website Administrator to show a user friendly name
  5. Click Add Media to load the file (PDF Preferred as more universally accepted)
  6. Browse computer for the file
  7. Click OK to upload, this will load the file
  8. To Edit or upload a different file, click the X next to the uploaded file and go through steps 5 onwards again
  9. Click Submit to load the file to the website.
  10. Highlight Link Text CTRL+C
  11. On the home page, hover over the Noticeboard and click the edit pencil
  12. type text
  13. highlight what you want to become the link
  14. Click URL button
  15. Paste the pre copied text into the URL field
  16. Click OK
  17. Click Save to Complete the task
