Auctionmarts Website Enhancements Release March 2022 - Bitesize
Video Streaming
This release of the website removes the amber buffering cloud from the streaming control. It also progresses multiple streams in one ring which is WIP and hopefully available in the next quarter. You will continue to see the video control as per the example on the right below, but the example on the left splits the video and audio and provides multi video streams linked to one master audio from the auctioneer.
Green Cloud = Sub second real-time stream.
The Amber Cloud has been removed from Auctionmarts so there is no buffered stream if the internet is poor. There is only green if the internet connectivity is good and working sub second, or red if it is not working because streaming turned off or internet poor. This is to remove the confusion the amber buffered fall-back option when internet poor caused.
In the event of your customers reporting a red cloud you should check you are streaming successfully and if you are recommend, they check their internet connectivity.
